True culture leads to sweetness and light!
Founded in 1898, the Woman's Club of Enfield, CT is a proud member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. It is one of the oldest and most outstanding civic organizations in Enfield. Members of the club are women over the age of 18 interested in volunteer service to the community, state, and nation.
The club offers a variety projects:
Community service work with local nursing homes, food pantries and after school programs
Scholarship fundraising for high school and continuing education students.
Events that support GFWC's signature project: Domestic Violence Awareness
Conservation projects
Promotion of the Arts in local schools
Arts and Crafts for its members
