Woman's Club of Enfield
For this year’s GFWC International Day of Service, themed “Unite Against Domestic Violence,” the Woman’s Club of Enfield took part with our own project, “Wash Away Violence.” Together, we collected much-needed bath towels for The Network's safehouse. We wrapped up the effort with a great presentation by Arie Green, who shared the many services, resources, and needs that The Network provides in support of our community.
Members worked with the Enfield Food Shelf packing cold weather bags full of snacks, socks, gloves and hand warmers. They will be distributed by Enfield’s emergency services to those in need this winter.

In September, the club was happy to present a check for $600 to the Enfield Schools. Grades 3-5 principals received $200 each to use for the students unable to purchase books at the Scholastic Book Sale.
